How to Renew Your Driving Licence in Sri Lanka
Renewing your driving licence in Sri Lanka is now much easier. Simply book your appointment, complete your medical examination, and visit the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) to receive your renewed licence.

Documents Required
You only need:

Step 1 – Book Your Medical Appointment
Book your medical appointment through the eChannelling service before visiting the National Transport Medical Institute (NTMI). Appointments can also be made through the official DMT appointment system for licence renewal where applicable.
Step 2 – Visit the Medical Centre
Visit the selected NTMI branch at your booked time.
Bring:

- Original Driving Licence
Your medical examination usually includes:
